Pay Range

This range is provided by Somerville Public Schools (NJ). Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$23.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Screens visitors before allowing access to the school building through operation of the bell intercom system.
• Directs community members, student families, and external partners to specific rooms within the building.
• Answers phones in the main office and transfers calls.
• Makes attendance calls to student families.
• Assists in managing supplies for the building's programs.
• Performs general record keeping for the building's programs, including student attendance support and staff sign-in/sign-out sheets.
• Assists building leadership with emergency management situations such as fire or lockdown drills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Terms of Employment

Seasonal/Yearly Employment from July 7th, 2025 to August 8, 2025.

Hourly Rate: $23 per hour worked.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45 am - 1:30 pm.

Mandatory Orientation and Professional Development Days: To be determined.

Reports to: Director of Special Education Extended School Year or designee.
