Reports To: Executive Director (Ayesha Ahmed) Location: Greater Chicago Area / Remote Directors of Fundraising and Development & Finance and Administration Beauty Without Barriers, a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for individuals with disabilities within the beauty industry, is seeking two passionate and dynamic individuals to join our leadership team as Directors of Fundraising and Development and Finance and Administration. These are key roles in helping shape and lead a new initiative committed to inclusion, accessibility, and making a real impact in the beauty space. 1. Director of Fundraising and Development The Director of Fundraising and Development will be responsible for securing financial support for the organization’s mission and building relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners. This role will oversee grant writing, fundraising events, and other fundraising initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement fundraising strategies. Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners. Lead grant writing efforts and identify new funding opportunities. Organize and manage fundraising events and campaigns. 2. Director of Finance and Administration The Director of Finance and Administration will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring proper budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as managing administrative tasks and HR functions. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the financial operations of the organization. Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Handle day-to-day administrative and HR functions. Ensure compliance with nonprofit standards and regulations. Ideal Candidates for Both Roles: Proven experience in the nonprofit sector (specific to the role you're applying for). Strong organizational and leadership skills. Passionate about inclusion, accessibility, and advocating for individuals with disabilities. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
