What You'll Do:

As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you'll be in a unique position to provide our patients with the most crucial health service: ongoing preventive oral care. Your daily tasks will include:

• Recording treatment information on patient charts.
• Taking radiographs as directed by the doctor.
• Evaluating periodontal conditions and creating treatment plans.
• Providing excellent customer service by escorting patients to and from the treatment room.
• Administering Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen.
• Applying topical agents and sealants.
• Assisting doctors during clinical exams and recording findings.
• Performing oral cancer exams.
• Scaling, polishing, and applying fluoride to teeth.
• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments.
• Inspecting patients’ oral cavities and charting conditions.
• Educating patients on preventive care and home care.
• Cleaning restorations and appliances.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments.
• Implementing and monitoring recall systems.
• Any other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid X-ray certificate.
• Current RDH license.
• CPR & first aid certification.
