Job Details

The Director of IT Operations will lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of IT systems across a multi-state platform. You’ll oversee infrastructure, security, onboarding/offboarding processes, vendor management, and ensure that technology scales effectively with organizational growth—particularly through M&A activity and integration of new practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute IT operational strategies aligned with business goals.
Lead a growing IT operations team, instilling best practices, governance, and continuous improvement.
Oversee infrastructure across cloud (AWS/Azure), networks, data centers, and ensure system reliability and security.
Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and service delivery across multiple sites.
Drive integration efforts during acquisitions, including IT assessments, migrations, and standardization.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare regulations through robust security frameworks.
Lead disaster recovery planning, cybersecurity initiatives, and risk management protocols.
Deliver on critical IT projects—on time and within budget—supporting both clinical and administrative functions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
7+ years in IT leadership roles, preferably within multi-site healthcare or high-growth environments.

Strong experience with:

Healthcare IT systems (EMR/EHR, interoperability, compliance frameworks)
Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments
Network architecture, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and disaster recovery
Cybersecurity, IAM, Zero Trust, and regulatory audits
Proven track record managing M&A IT integrations and scaling operations.
Certifications like ITIL, PMP, CISSP are a plus.
