**About this role:**
The **Global Head of Loan Closing, Commercial Banking Operations** will report to the Head of Lending Fulfillment, Commercial Banking Operations.
This leader will work closely with the **Head of** **Lending Fulfillment Operations** as well as the Commercial Banking Operations leadership team to deliver on strategic initiatives in support of Commercial Banking Operations.
The Global Leader will lead a team of leaders responsible for Commercial Banking Loan Closing Operations across multiple lines of business. Teams are responsible for the initial boarding and funding of deals onto accounting system of records.
This may include in depth review of collateral, legal agreements and credit approvals to ensure final executed details are captured accurately and regulatory and company requirements are met. The teams also partner with various lines of business to gather updated information, ensure State Tax requirements are met, complete quarterly technology enhancements, and regression testing on our systems.
By leveraging and influencing key resources and stakeholders, the leader will be responsible for but not limited to:
+ Direct management of leaders responsible for global lending closing teams across 5+ locations.
+ Assist in the development, planning and execution of strategic initiatives that drive business results within a complex ecosystem and multiple platforms.
+ Partner with support groups (i.e., Finance, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Control, HR, etc.) to ensure smooth integration and meeting ongoing business needs
+ Foster strategic relationships across COO, Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, and the enterprise in order to share best practices, influence decision-making and ensure efficiencies
+ Define and drive improvements in operations performance to maximize economics, improving efficiency and effectiveness, and risk management while substantially improving Customer and Employee experience
+ Coordinate closely with key partners in support of financial planning, human capital planning, communications, risk reviews and audits
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 8+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 4+ years of management experience
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ A bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
+ 15+ years' experience managing a global Operations organization, preferably in Commercial Banking
+ Wholesale Lending Experience with an emphasis in nCino, AFS and Loan IQ systems of record.
+ Proven ability in partnering, collaborating, and building relationships with a breadth of stakeholders, including line of business and functional leaders across a complex, matrixed environment
+ Demonstrated ability to manage highly complex projects, processes, and initiatives
+ Partnership approach to responsibilities, including ability to effectively lead (directly or indirectly) initiatives across lines of business, peers, partners, and key stakeholder
+ Strong track record of delivering results including demonstrated project and initiatives management and execution as well as sound decision-making approach to complex problems
+ Transformational leader who can understand and leverage latest technology, tools, and approaches to accelerate effectiveness and maximize efficiency. Able to create, build and communicate compelling business cases at all levels of the organization.
+ Extensive risk management experience, specifically with Risk Compliance Self-Assessment (RCSA), control testing and issue management
**Pay Range**
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
