Operations Specialist BCP Miami

Who Were Looking For:

We are seeking an organized, flexible and team-driven Operations Specialist with a background in international banking operations . You are motivated , energetic , and thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, compliance, and service are top priorities.

What Youll Do

You will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager and executing core operational functions, including loan administration, time deposit processing, transaction reviews , and compliance monitoring .

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish, maintain, and close loans per bank policies, verifying accuracy and compliance
• Review and process loan disbursements, renewals, partial payments, and cancellations
• Set up and maintain time deposits according to customer/officer instructions
• Verify and release Credit Services transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Monitor and validate OFAC screenings on wire transfers
• Provide operational support for checks, ACH transactions, and SWIFT file handling
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Customer Relations, Compliance, Controller Team)
• Participate in cross-training and assist with special projects as needed
• Maintain accurate operational records and assist in regulatory and internal audits

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent (or 46 years of experience in international bank operations)
• Strong understanding of Letters of Credit, ICC 500, ISP 98, URR 525, and OFAC compliance
• High proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of US labor laws and BSA/AML compliance is a plus

This is a hybrid position based in our Coral Gables office.
