Your daily pursuit is leading our amazing retail team in providing excellent guest service and helping our guests pick out the perfect souvenir or gift from their Glacier adventure!

\n\nWhat will your compensation be?:\n

$17.50/hour

\n\nWhen does this adventure begin?:\n

This role is posted for our spring/summer 2025 season! 

\n\nWhat will you do in this job?:\n

• Assist in management of all aspects of retail operation: inventory, merchandising, discipline, etc.
• Drive retail and photo sales, understand labor and revenue targets and work with Manager to achieve goals
• Maintain store cleanliness and arrange displays in an aesthetic and pleasing way to encourage sales
• Receive merchandise shipments, stock and replenish store as needed.
• Maintain all store security policies
• Balance cash in registers and making closing deposits
• Facilitate an efficient and accuarte check-in process for all guests, reporting to River Managers and ensuring all waivers are accounted for
• Assist with daily raft trip guest tracking
• Assist in managing river photography program including but not limited to on-river photography, working with guides to understand the route and key photo opportunities, photo uploads, sales and ensuring all guests receive proper images
• Operate and maintain professional photography equipment
• Set an example and engage associates to create a welcoming and exciting environment for guests
• Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed
• Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties

\n\nWhat skills and experience do you need for this job?:\n

• 1-2 years retail management experience preferred
• Knowledge of merchandise costs, labor costs, and controls
• Previous display, merchandising, and cash register operating experience
• Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
• Be willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
• Be committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
• Be organized with a great eye for detail
• Be kind to others and always bring your best
• Be a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
• Be helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile
• Be relaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curve balls
• Be ready to have fun!
