Position Summary Acuren Inspection is now hiring hard working, dependable Painter to work on a project basis to start as soon as possible.
The Technician is responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned by the Supervisor.
Responsibilities •Have a comprehensive knowledge Painting/Blasting
•Assist other technicians as required
•Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
•Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Requirements •Knowledge of coating materials, application techniques, and curing processes
•Experience with paint and industrial equipment
•Experience using a wet paint gun, hand and power tools, and other painting equipment
•The ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings
•The ability to read and use coating thickness gages, surface profile gages, dew point meters, soluble salt testers, and hardness or ultrasonic thickness gages
•Previous pipeline experience preferred
•NCCER Painter certification a plus
•NACE certification a plus

Working Conditions - Outside environment with continuous physical effort, exposure to 5-7 elements/conditions, moderate mental effort, and occasional requests for assistance.
- Willingness to travel and cover projects as needed
Physical Job Requirements & Demands: - Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb and work from ladders
