Position OverviewOur focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices -- every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. As a Forklift Operator , you will use a forklift to transport merchandise to, from, and within the warehouse to put away, drop down, and rotate full pallets of stock through the warehouse inventory reserve racks using a stand-up forklift.Job DescriptionText "CS" to 32543 to learn more about how you can become a part of our legacy.Earn $24.00 per hourFull time, 2nd Shift hours47 Old Ferry Road, Brattleboro VT 05301You will contribute by:Transport merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to proper location in the warehouse. Complete purchase orders.Maintain the proper replenishment in the computer, using a handheld device, when the pallet is put back in the rack.Stack cases and rotate merchandise. Refill benches and fill pallet slots.Pull material/products to deliver to production linesMove/Slot finished product from production to designated storage areaPull finished product from storage and load on trailersMaintain accurate records of quantities, pack size and descriptionUnload material/product from trailersUtilize necessary technology (e.g., voice, RF gun) to select productComplete paperwork on transfer of material Date pallets with current dateComplete inspection form on equipment operated. Change battery in forklift, when applicableKeep work area clean. Sweep floor slots.
