The unified business supports ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices through Citi Private Bank, operates in the affluent and high-net worth segments through Citigold and Citigold Private Client, and captures wealth management in the workplace through Citi Global Wealth at Work. The Senior Wealth Advisor will offer comprehensive financial and investment advice to our Citigold and Citigold Private Client segments. Senior Wealth Advisors have access to Wealth's leading investment solutions platform, enabling delivery of traditional and alternative investments, managed account solutions, and top-tier research and advice for all Wealth clients. The client remains at the center of our efforts. As a Senior Wealth Advisor, you will partner closely with a dedicated Wealth team to meet the financial needs of our Affluent and High-Net Worth clients, including a Wealth Relationship Manager and field experts such as Financial Planners, Insurance Specialists, Portfolio Consultants, and Home Lending Officers. Job Responsibilities: Build relationships with new clients to bring in new bank and brokerage assets. Deepen relationships with existing clients through financial planning and excellent discovery and profiling skills. Respond to referrals and introductions from business partners, recommending suitable offerings based on client profiling and assessments. Make securities recommendations and provide investment advice using firm models and research. Identify referral opportunities to grow the portfolio. Refer opportunities to segment partners when appropriate (e.g., Small Business Partners, Home Lending Officers). Acquire new clients by converting referral leads. Manage client follow-up, adhering to all Regulatory and Compliance procedures. Ensure compliance with KYC/AML and other norms. Partner with branch team members to ensure a positive client experience. Assess risk carefully in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and firm policies, and escalating issues as needed. Take on informal/formal leadership roles within teams, including coaching and training new recruits. Qualifications and Skills: 5-8 years of experience in a financial advisory role. Proven success in proactive sales and service within financial services. Strong analytical and financial skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organized with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial planning software preferred. Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred. Self-starter, problem solver, goal-oriented team player capable of working independently. Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses. Group 1 Insurance License. Must register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, maintaining and updating registration annually, and providing the unique identifier as required by regulations. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
